As a Project Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and closure of projects in support of the US Navy and PMA 207. This role involves coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Analyst will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Support project managers in day-to-day project activities.
- Track project progress against plans and milestones.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor risk factors and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and action items are followed up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Ensure all project-related documents are stored and accessible.
- Prepare and present project reports, including financial reports, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in project management or a related role.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
