This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer Class Desk, located in Lexington Park, MD. The role involves managing engineering projects, providing technical guidance to teams, and ensuring successful project execution and delivery. Responsibilities will include performing technical reviews, analyzing engineering data, and addressing technical challenges while supporting the development, testing, and sustainment requirements for naval systems. The position also entails collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Advanced Communication Technologies
- Experience in technical project management and providing detailed technical guidance
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, technical standards, and engineering processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Previous experience in naval systems and defense-related projects is an advantage
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
