Job Summary

Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs supporting PMA-276. Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs. Provides recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities.

Provides recommendations for the development of LCC and TOC Management Plans. Provides recommendations for the review and development of maintenance plans/Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records, maintenance tasks and LORA recommendations.

• Provides recommendations for the development of LCC and TOC Management Plans.
• Provides recommendations for the review and development of maintenance plans/LSA records, maintenance tasks and LORA recommendations.

• Provide guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, and SE programs.
• Perform analyses and develop recommendations to optimize logistics support.

• Experience with weapon system logistics analysis.
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures; familiarity with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series.
• Ability to work with large and diverse teams and provide guidance, direction, and supervision across program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of NAVAIR logistics and maintainability programs and processes.
• Ability to write technically and communicate effectively at all levels of command.

Education: MA / MS in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management preferred. A BS / BA in a related field and 4 additional years of work experience may be substituted for the MA / MS degree.

Experience

Required:

10+ years’ experience (4 additional years if no MS) in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems; 4+ years providing supervision to a team providing logistics support. Preferred experience with PMA-276 and their supported weapon systems.

Salary Range:  to  annually.
