The Opportunity
As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating datalink systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage the integration and compatibility of datalink systems. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve datalink performance of a variety of platforms.
Our team supports the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, well versed in datalink systems to help us design and develop future technologies within the datalink discipline. On our team, you’ll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to develop and integrate those upgrades to improve the warfighter’s competitive edge.
You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. This is a chance to use your electrical engineering skills while gaining experience in the datalink discipline to sharpen your skills while doing meaningful work.
- Experience in datalink systems
- Knowledge of systems integration challenges
- Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field
- Experience with modern Navy datalink systems
- Experience with the SETR process
- Experience with Datalink compliance testing, including NCTSI
- Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
- Ability to analyze datalink designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in a scientific field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
