Communications Engineer

As an electrical engineer, you will manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) communications systems. Your work will transform Mission Systems requirements to improve PLEO comms performance across multiple platforms, collaborate with OEMs to integrate advanced technologies, augment designs and algorithms for better system performance, and develop upgrades that enhance warfighters’ competitive edge.

• Manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for PLEO communications systems.
• Translate Mission Systems requirements into improved PLEO comms performance.
• Coordinate with OEMs to integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms.
• Augment designs and algorithms to enhance overall system performance.
• Address current challenges and develop upgrades to improve warfighters’ competitive edge.

• Experience in radar systems.
• Knowledge of systems integration challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations for warfighter capabilities.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.

• Experience with modern Navy PLEO communications systems.
• Experience with the SETR process.
• Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.
• Ability to analyze PLEO communications designs and provide technical input to improve performance and integration ease.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Secret clearance required. Top Secret clearance is an advantage.

Projected compensation range: $61,900.00 to $ per year (USD).
