Job Description and Responsibilities

Build, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2012, Windows 11, and upcoming OS environments.
Manage and support servers, workstations, storage, and network infrastructure supporting the Data Reduction Facility.
Oversee and maintain RAID arrays, SAN, and NAS storage solutions to ensure high availability and data integrity.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly.
Ensure data integrity, security, and backup procedures are in place and effective.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize data workflows.
Manage software updates, patches, and system configurations for current and future operating systems.
Procure devices and hardware components for end‑of‑life systems to ensure continued operational capability.
Document system architecture, procedures, and configurations.
Support user access and provide technical assistance as needed.
Implement best practices for system security, disaster recovery, and storage management.

Basic Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum Security+ certification and OS certification.
Windows Server/Domain Controller experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

SAN and NAS Experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s preferred.

Security Clearance

Top Secret or above (must be a US Citizen). Candidates with a Secret clearance may be considered.

Telework and Travel

On‑site work.

Contract
