MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer‑oriented Senior Program Control Analyst to join our team in Lexington Park, MD
. This is a hybrid role with 1‑2 days onsite per week.
The Senior Program Control Analyst will leverage their strong financial background and expertise to support the Sponsor’s program execution efforts, to include creating complex financial models, managing project budgets, tracking contract funding, and completing required financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities- Developing, maintaining, and analyzing program budgets, fiscal forecasts, and comprehensive variance reports to ensure optimal financial health.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, internal leadership, and Sponsor authorities to navigate complex financial planning and execution cycles.
- Creating and managing detailed financial tracking tools and databases while maintaining a robust library of spend plans, funding allocations, and contract line‑item details.
- Conducting regular cost risk assessments and implementing proactive mitigation strategies across all Sponsor initiatives.
- Monitoring contract funding status, tracking expenditures, and managing configuration items related to financial reporting timelines.
- Working effectively with all program stakeholders to ensure financial systems and reporting mechanisms fully meet mission requirements.
- Evaluating existing financial processes to recommend and implement continuous process and policy improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business administration, accounting, finance, economics, management information technology, or a related business or management discipline, or an Associate’s degree (AS or AA) plus an additional 4+ years of related experience, or an additional 6+ years of related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of experience in government contracting program control and financial analysis.
- 2+ years of professional experience in technical efforts supporting weapon systems development programs.
- Significant experience meeting complex financial compliance and reporting regulations in a Government Contracting environment.
- Experience managing complex contract structures, funding types (CPFF, FFP, T&M), and tracking associated variance metrics.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating sophisticated financial models and executive‑level cost presentations.
- Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Self‑starter with excellent people skills – able to work across teams, organize financial reviews, and drive efficiency throughout an organization.
An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and collaborative spaces.
- Frequently communicates with co‑workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering financial presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00–$. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
