We are currently seeking a SharePoint/Power Platform Developer, Journeyman to support our customer in Patuxent River, Maryland location.
Functional DescriptionJourneyman level SharePoint/Power Platform Developer responsible for developing and implementing techniques and analytics applications to transform data into meaningful information using Power Platform visualization software. Candidate will be responsible for configuring and customizing DoD Flank Speed (FS) SharePoint Online (SPO) systems according to NAVAIR specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff.
Duties- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online and MS Office software; proficient in Microsoft 365 tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Teams to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and improve operational efficiency, creating clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all NAVAIR design and functionality requirements while maintaining all programmatic documentation/information using a metadata structure.
- Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. May create dynamic data reports.
- Responsible for ensuring smooth transition to SPO from Share Drive utilizing metadata back end infrastructure.
- Maintain and manage operations of all collaborative environments while protecting valuable data and information using creative thinking skills to solve problems and collaborating with others.
Required
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree or allowable substitutions is required.
Allowable substitution: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
OR
Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Experience: Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience.
Desired
Experience:
- More than two years of experience supporting NAVAIR leadership.
- Previous experience as a SharePoint developer.
- Familiarity with the following is preferred:
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, Web Services, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau. - Ability to solve complex software issues.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Detail oriented.
- Self-motivated.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation for this position is determined by education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $ - (annualized USD). This range is the standard pay for this role and a component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
