Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Software Engineering, Junior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client in St. Inigoes, MD.
This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities- Support customer requests for computer science, data science analysis, and programming, as needed
- Work with team to develop solutions to solve customer problems
Support travel requests, as needed
Required Qualifications- Experience with the following:
- Programming
Languages:
Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS - Frameworks: React, Node.js, Flask
- Developer Tools: Git, VS Code, PyCharm, Excel, Tableau
- Libraries: Pandas, Num Py, Matplotlib, Material UI, PyTorch, OpenCV
- Programming
- Experience using OpenCV image detection ability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with team members
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements
- Experience managing an Active Directory domain
- Experience performing live server vulnerability assessments
- Experience delivering remote technical support
- Experience developing applications
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to analyze user input
- Internship or prior work experience in software development or software engineering
BA/BS in Computer Science or Data Science or equivalent combined experience/education/certification

For this position, the projected compensation range is $60,000- $75,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
