Junior Software Engineer; Software Engineering, Junior Analyst

Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Software Engineering, Junior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client in St. Inigoes, MD.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

• Support customer requests for computer science, data science analysis, and programming, as needed
• Work with team to develop solutions to solve customer problems

Support travel requests, as needed

• Experience with the following:
  • Programming
    
    Languages:
    
    Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Frameworks: React, Node.js, Flask
  • Developer Tools: Git, VS Code, PyCharm, Excel, Tableau
  • Libraries: Pandas, Num Py, Matplotlib, Material UI, PyTorch, OpenCV
• Experience using OpenCV image detection ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with team members
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements

• Experience managing an Active Directory domain
• Experience performing live server vulnerability assessments
• Experience delivering remote technical support
• Experience developing applications
• Experience applying machine learning techniques to analyze user input
• Internship or prior work experience in software development or software engineering

BA/BS in Computer Science or Data Science or equivalent combined experience/education/certification

For this position, the projected compensation range is $60,000- $75,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
