This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.
Job Description and ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain an organization's Red Hat Linux systems. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- Hardware/Application Support for Red Hat Linux Systems.
- Compliance Assurance: STIG, Patching, Backups, ACAS Scans.
- Scripting:
Bash and Ansible
High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills and Experience- Red Hat Linux 8.x and newer experience (required)
- Bash Scripting experience (required)
- Familiarity with STIGs (Required)
- Ansible knowledge (desired)
Security +(or equivalent) and RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Admin)
Security ClearanceTop Secret or above (must be a US Citizen)
