Location:
Lexington Park, MD. Full‑time onsite position offering career growth opportunities.
Provide technical writing support, including creating, preparing, and finalizing programmatic and engineering documentation for the client. Write and edit technical manuals, test procedures or plans, work instructions, and training packages, focusing on compiling clear and concise technical documentation. Interview subject matter experts, conduct research, and analyze technical information to distill it into understandable language. Leverage knowledge of technical writing best practices and DoW guidance to produce comprehensive, accurate documentation.
Contribute solutions to a variety of challenges of moderate scope and complexity.
- Write and edit technical manuals, test procedures or plans, work instructions, and training packages.
- Interview subject matter experts, conduct research, and analyze technical information to distill into clear and concise language.
- Leverage knowledge of technical writing best practices and DoW guidance to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Contribute solutions to a variety of challenges of moderate scope and complexity.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing and producing technical documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using AI technology and tools to create written content.
- Ability to create document templates.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with military standards and specifications governing the preparation of technical documentation.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, experience, and contract‑specific considerations.
