NSI requires a Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst to support the PMA-265 Configuration Management and Technical Publication Teams. This position provides direct support to the Product Support Manager for F/A-18 & EA-18G Type Model Series aircraft, delivering organizational support to functional logistics personnel. The Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst will perform a variety of tasks aimed at improving weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs, as well as information systems.
Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining key configuration elements within the Enterprise Change Management (ECM) system.
- Generating status reports for accounting of configuration items to all stakeholders.
- Process and manage proposed Class II Engineering Changes from Boeing St. Louis, MO, Defense Contract Management Agency, Notice of Escapes and Requests for Waivers/Deviations from suppliers and internal teams, ensuring any departure from specified requirements is properly documented and authorized.
- Initiate, record, and track change requests and problem reports for all configuration items.
- Control changes to baselines in accordance with established procedures and ensure all data, information, and system details are accurately imported into the ECM system.
- Maintain and synchronize the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for ECPs and TDs, ensuring all development and source data milestones are accurately captured and coordinated across all stakeholders.
- Assist Technical Data Logistics Element Manager (LEM) for technical manual impact reviews associated with ECPs and TDs.
- May also be required to research, analyze, and interpret TDs, drawings, and Installation Instructions communicating findings to the appropriate Program Office Personnel.

EducationBachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management. Associate's Degree plus four (4) years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree, or six (6) years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
ExperienceAt least three (3) to ten (10) years' FTE program experience; a minimum of three (3) years out of the prior ten (10) years of program experience must include aircraft systems CM. Demonstrated program experience in the CM process must include configuration identification, control, audit, and status; DOD CM policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards; ECP evaluations; and Operational and Safety Improvement Program procedures.
Demonstrated experience with aircraft and system avionics, subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment development, testing, production, and operational use.
Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
