Position:Logistics Specialist for International Programs, Senior
Location:Lexington Park, Maryland
Overview:This individual will perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis and evaluations in support of PMA-263. This unique and special labor category requires thorough technical competence, strong analytical abilities, and a broad perspective on international programs. The individual addresses program requirements in international logistics and develops unique and creative approaches for establishing cooperative support arrangements with allies and friendly nations.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies that optimize cost, service, and efficiency across all logistics operations
- Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution
- Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics initiatives with overall business objectives
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including ally partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), DoD suppliers, and third‑party logistics providers
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining high service levels
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics and supply chain
- Work with key stakeholders to coordinate workload, review contracts and project cost accounting
- Support and ensure compliance with training requirements
- Support the efforts and actions of FMS Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Leads, utilizing your knowledge of program development and execution to analyze challenging technical and program management problems, recommending insightful and innovative solutions
- Assist both the NAVAIR Program Office and the Ally Partner in identifying issues related to initial outfitting, aircraft on the ground (AOG), spare parts, equipment, installation and documentation
- Assist the Program Office in new business acquisition as well as FMS or Security Cooperation case development, implementation, and follow‑on support activities
- Provide analysis support and track program/project status and schedules in support of program offices
- Track the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments and evaluate progress on a continuing basis to determine problem areas and recommend solutions
- Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS and OCONUS, as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
- Master’s degree and greater than ten (10) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition or life cycle management.
- Additional years of experience can be used to offset the degree requirement.

Compensation Range: $90,000.00 - $ annually. The employee may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program subject to the rules governing the program.
