The Opportunity:
Provide technical writing support, including creating and preparing programmatic and engineering documentation for the client from initial draft through finalization for delivery. Write and edit technical manuals, test procedures or plans, work instructions, and training packages with primary focus on compiling technical documentation. Interview subject matter experts, conduct research, and analyze technical information to distill into clear and concise language. Leverage knowledge of technical writing best practices and DoW guidance to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Contribute solutions to a variety of challenges of moderate scope and complexity. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD.
You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing and producing technical documentation
- Experience using Micro sof t Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience using AI technology and tools to create written content
- Ability to create document templates
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with military standards and specifications governing the preparation of technical documentation
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation at Booz Allen includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Salary for this position is $55,300.00 to $ (annualized USD).
