Speech Pathologist
This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a public school setting located in Lexington Park, MD. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 9th and involves working with a diverse student caseload across elementary, middle, and high school grades.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress
- Monitor and adjust therapy approaches as necessary to ensure effective outcomes
- Valid Maryland SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology working with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a school environment
- Position based in Lexington Park, MD (specific school location TBD)
- Typical hours approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Contract role for the current school year (CSY), ending June 9th
