Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing a high volume of invoices. • Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation
• Review and verify invoice approvals and account coding
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments in a timely, professional manner
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Maintain vendor files and ensure records are up to date and audit-ready
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including accruals and reconciliations
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes and workflow

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books, etc.)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• A team player mentality, with the ability to also work independently
• Knowledge of 3-way match process
• Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups)
