Financial Reporting Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SEC Accountant to support external financial reporting and ensure compliance with SEC regulations. This role will play a key part in preparing filings, maintaining technical accounting documentation, and supporting the overall reporting process in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and review SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required disclosures
• Assist with drafting financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A sections
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements
• Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes related to external reporting
• Research and document technical accounting issues and new accounting standards
• Coordinate with auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, and investor relations teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–5+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional preferred) or SEC reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Experience with reporting tools (Workiva, Hyperion, or similar) is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail

• Experience working with publicly traded companies
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Strong technical accounting research skills
