Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the daily accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and post journal entries.
+ Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
+ Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
+ Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
+ Participate in audits and provide requested documentation.
+ Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+ 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Public accounting experience a plus.
+
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
+ CPA candidate or certification preferred but not required.
