Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will manage various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting overall organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Generate financial reports to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Utilize Quick Books and other accounting software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
