Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Our team is seeking an Accountant, Financial Reporting to join our client's accounting team in Lexington, KY. This individual will prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and support the preparation of financial reports. The role will analyze financial data, manage accruals, assist with audits, and help resolve accounting discrepancies. This person will also partner with teams across the business to improve processes, support business objectives, and ensure accurate reporting.

Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
