Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and supporting the continued optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience producing accurate financial statements, and the ability to leverage ERP data to improve reporting processes and business insights.

This role will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and supporting the continued optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience producing accurate financial statements, and the ability to leverage ERP data to improve reporting processes and business insights.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial results and provide commentary on variances, trends, and key business drivers.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Support external audits and coordinate requests from auditors.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial reporting packages.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Assist with process improvements and internal control initiatives.

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and reporting capabilities.
• Assist with ERP enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and user training.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and strengthen reporting accuracy.
• Support special projects, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
• Experience supporting audits and preparing financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Public accounting background.
• Experience with consolidations and multi-entity reporting.
• Power BI reporting experience.
• Manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or multi-location company experience.
• Process improvement and ERP implementation experience.
