Job Summary
This GME Program Coordinator position uniquely supports fellowship programs in Pathology and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and assists with the administration of the newly established PM&R Osteopathic Recognition Program. The position collaborates with program directors and the GME Office in the daily operational oversight of the program(s), as outlined in the ACGME Institutional, Common Program and Specialty Program Guidelines for Graduate Medical Education.
The role requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Develop, initiate, or direct programmatic activities including program planning, project development and management, recruiting, updating policies, and managing databases and the residency management software system (Med Hub).
- Interact with faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students and manage internal and external program relations.
- Serve as the primary resource for learners, faculty, and administrative staff, and act as a liaison between the Residency Program Director, chief residents, residents, program faculty, GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites concerning residency program matters.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation agency requirements (ACGME).
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Professional interaction with trainees, faculty, staff, and leadership while maintaining positive relationships and excellent customer service.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and quickly learn new processes and software systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to obtain Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification within 3 years of hire date.

Physical RequirementsSitting for long periods of time in front of a computer.
ShiftMonday – Friday (40 hours). Some nights and weekends may be needed.
