LOCATION: CARLISLE
This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience and employability skills in a friendly, professional office environment whilst working towards gaining a nationally recognised qualification in Business and Administration.
Working alongside our busy support team in our Carlisle office you will be involved in the provision of excellent service to support all departments within this progressive Cumbria based firm of Accountants and Business advisors with clients throughout the UK.
Tasks will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls to the business and passing on messages
- Scan filing, photocopying, binding
- Preparation and franking of outgoing post
- Using computers – to input data, produce standard letters and documents
- Maintaining security of information and confidentiality
- Preparing refreshments for clients visiting the office
Naturally organised, with a friendly outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and good attention to detail, you must be prepared to work on your own initiative, taking responsibility for the completion of your allocated tasks and your studies, whilst working as part of the support team.
You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship could potentially lead to further employment and training opportunities with Dodd & Co.
The successful candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 G.C.S.E including Maths and English, at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) along with good IT and communication skills.
