Location & Schedule

Kettering, OH – Fully Remote after orientation.

Salaried at $18.00/hr work schedule:
Monday‑Friday 5:00pm–9:00pm EST (One weekday evening off) and Saturday & Sunday 8:00am–6:00pm EST.

Overview

As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator with Alternate Solutions Health Network, you support our home‑care and hospice teams by ensuring timely, accurate visit scheduling and exceptional patient service.

Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Customer Service – Respond promptly and courteously to patients’ inquiries or problems and collaborate with supervisors on client concerns or complaints.
  • Operations – Manage daily workflow in the company database, and process daily and weekly reports.
  • Policies – Follow Medicare guidelines including LUPA, re‑assessment, and 13/19 supervisory visits.
  • Collaboration – Match patients with field staff by determining the best fit in clinical skill sets and personality.
  • Compliance – Address missed, declined, unverified, and reassigned visits with field staff.
  • Teamwork – Support co‑workers and participate in on‑call requirements.

Qualifications
  • High‑school graduate or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in the health‑care industry, preferably in home care.
  • Capable of all physical demands of the role.
