Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Virtual Assistant/ Remote Admin
Location: In-office, 2-4 days per week;
Lexington, KY 40511
Hours: 10-20 hrs/week to start, with more hours possible during busy stretches (events, quarterly meetings, convention years)

A&W Restaurants is looking for an organized, friendly, get-it-done type of person to help keep our office running smoothly and support our CEO. Requirements:Essential Functions
Office Upkeep
- Keep the kitchen tidy and stocked
- Order office supplies, snacks, napkins, drinks, and coordinate weekly pizza
- Keep the copiers stocked with paper
- Water the office plants (the public ones, no pressure on anyone's desk cactus)
- Sort the mail and sign for packages
- Be the friendly face that greets visitors
- Schedule van maintenance and office window/carpet cleaning
Administrative/Executive Support:
- Put together the monthly newsletter and social media content
- Send out birthday cards every month
- Handle the CEO's monthly expense reports
Event Coordination:
- Run point on coordinating whole company meetings (2 in-person, 2 virtual each year) — book the rooms, send the invites, pull together the PowerPoint, order lunch
- Partner with HR on the holiday party
- Support convention logistics every other year — scheduling, travel and lodging, service pins and awards
- Order lunch for state and quarterly meetings

· Prior administrative, office management, or event coordination experience preferred
· Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, Teams, Powerpoint)
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
This is a highly sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a step ladder as necessary. Additionally, all corporate employees will be asked to work in the company-owned restaurants at least four times a year for shifts lasting 4-9 hours. Standing, cleaning and fast-paced mobility is expected during working in the restaurants.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Work takes place Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a break offered for lunch. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, pursuant to prior authorization by management.
