Denham Property & Injury Law is a plaintiff-side law firm representing homeowners and property owners whose insurance companies have underpaid, delayed, or denied legitimate claims. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, we operate across multiple states and are growing quickly. We move fast, take our clients' situations seriously, and hold ourselves to a high standard of preparation and follow-through.
The RoleWe are looking for a receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our Lexington, Kentucky office. You will answer inbound calls, conduct initial client intake, track leads, and support the day-to-day administrative operations of our Lexington office. This is a high-call-volume, client-facing position. Our clients are homeowners dealing with stressful insurance disputes — many of them are frustrated, confused, or upset when they call.

- Answer and route inbound calls — you are the first voice clients hear from the firm
- Conduct initial intake conversations: gather client information, explain our process, and set expectations
- Log and track all leads in our intake system
- Provide basic case status updates to existing clients who call in
- Schedule attorney consultations and client meetings
- Handle general front-desk and administrative tasks including mail, correspondence, and office supplies
- Build working knowledge of the firm's active cases so you can assist callers accurately
Required:
- Warm, professional phone presence
- Ability to learn new information quickly and retain it across a high volume of daily calls
- Highly organized and reliable
- Calm and composed when handling upset or emotional callers
- Comfortable with technology — you will use Microsoft 365, a VoIP phone system, and our case management platform
- Prior experience in a legal, insurance, or other reception or intake role
- Familiarity with case management software and intake tracking software
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
