Job TitleGME Program Coordinator
LocationLexington, KY
Responsibilities- Collaborate with program directors and the GME Office for daily operational oversight of fellowship programs in Pathology and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Develop, initiate, and direct programmatic activities such as program planning, project development and management, recruiting, policy updates, and use of residency management software (Med Hub).
- Interact with faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students to manage internal and external program relations.
- Act as the primary resource for learners, faculty, and administrative staff, serving as a liaison between Residency Program Directors, chief residents, program faculty, GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME Institutional, Common Program, and Specialty Program Guidelines for Graduate Medical Education.
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional interaction with trainees, faculty, staff, and leadership while maintaining positive working relationships and customer service.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new processes and software systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA).
- Minimum two years of related experience in administrative support, customer service, project planning, and coordination.
- Willingness to obtain Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification within three years of hire.
