Seasonal Data Management Support
This seasonal role provides data management support to the Sales Department by maintaining accurate data as it relates to horse information and sales clients using internal software, Microsoft Excel and other digital platforms. Prepares reports for sale-day functions, organizes electronic and physical records, responds to customer inquiries, and performs additional duties to support efficient sales operations. This role is approximately 20 hours per week during the fall sales season.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Uses internal software and Microsoft Excel to extensively maintain, track and manage sales data
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date release status information for sales documents using internal system and Excel
- Assists with preparation of reports for various sale day functions using Excel-based reports (horse identification, broodmare cover date)
- Manages and updates database of customer information
- Organizes and maintains electronic and physical records for efficient access by sales department
- Supports data integrity by ensuring information is documented accurately and consistently
- Organizes lien control sheets
- Fields customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assists sales department with other duties as needed

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability to work with spreadsheets and reports
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize internal software systems and databases
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to organize, maintain, and retrieve information efficiently using electronic systems and traditional filing methods
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
