Position Summary

• The technician will utilize technical skills and adhere to policies and procedures to perform a variety of tasks.
• They will clearly communicate research procedures and results to support reports and contribute to team objectives.
• This role involves working on semi-routine assignments where the ability to identify deviations from standard practices is essential.
• The technician may also provide training and guidance to less experienced team members and offer input during performance evaluations.
• They will verify the accuracy and relevance of project work, make recommendations within limited discretion, and perform both standard and non-standard tasks under close supervision.
• Regular updates on work progress will be maintained with supervisors.
• This position requires a foundation of technical knowledge to execute routine tasks, operate basic equipment, and analyze data as specified.

• Associate degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate standard equipment and follow established procedures.
• Basic understanding of applicable policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills to document and report research procedures and results.
• Demonstrated ability to perform routine data analysis.

• Ongoing pursuit of relevant certifications or continuing education.
• Experience guiding or mentoring less experienced team members.
• Familiarity with structured enterprise problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, or similar frameworks).
