Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for residential and commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing job sites, supervising crews and subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed according to plans, schedules, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily on-site construction activities for residential and commercial projects
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure quality and productivity
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Coordinate schedules, inspections, and material deliveries
- Maintain jobsite safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings
- Monitor project progress and report updates, delays, or issues to project management
- Perform quality control inspections and address deficiencies or rework promptly
- Maintain accurate daily logs, schedules, and site documentation
- Serve as a primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal teams
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in residential and/or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple trades and job sites
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
- Proficiency with construction management software and basic computer skills preferred
- Competitive Salary & Benefits – $65,000-$75,000yr based on experience.
- PTO – 2 weeks' vacation with all major holidays
