We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Site Superintendent to join our team.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential problems before they occur and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety and building regulations, maintaining meticulous records of all site activities.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal waste.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the data center or distribution warehouse construction sector.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in MEP systems, with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in managing mission‑critical construction projects, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, motivating and inspiring a diverse team of construction professionals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, anticipating and mitigating potential issues before they occur.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaising effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Construction Health and Safety or a related field is a plus.
