Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple commercial construction projects from start to finish. Reporting to the VP of General Contracting, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, safety, quality, and client relationships.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day management of multiple construction projects, ensuring successful execution from preconstruction through closeout
- Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, and project teams to develop cost-effective plans, schedules, and construction strategies
- Oversee project budgets, job costs, and financial performance to ensure profitability
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, purchase orders, and negotiations
- Track project schedules and ensure critical milestones are met
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation for timely completion
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and stakeholders while serving as the primary point of contact
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Support team development by mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and procurement processes
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with construction software such as Procore, Sage, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
