Commercial Construction Project Manager

Join Our Team as a Commercial Construction Project Manager

Lexington, Kentucky

Trace Creek is seeking an experienced and results driven Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage on-site commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • This is an on-site position, could be multiple locations within the region.
  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may impact cost, quality, or schedule.
  • Review contracts, project documents, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and quality requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and cost controls.
  • Oversee project closeout activities and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering commercial projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Education

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is strongly preferred. Candidates with a degree in Engineering or Architecture will also be given strong consideration.
