If you're the type of leader who sets the pace, earns the respect of your crew, and enjoys seeing a project come together from the ground up, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Site & Utilities Foreman, you'll lead crews performing site development and underground utility work on commercial construction projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise sitework and utility crews.
  • Coordinate daily work activities and maintain project schedules.
  • Install sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water mains, and underground utilities.
  • Oversee grading, excavation, earthwork, and site preparation.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and grades.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, and inspections.
  • Maintain a safe, productive, and organized jobsite.
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers, Superintendents, inspectors, and customers.
  • Identify and solve field issues before they become project delays.
  • Ensure work meets Bruns quality standards and project specifications.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience leading sitework and utility construction crews.
  • Strong knowledge of underground utility installation, grading, excavation, and site development.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, utility plans, and grade stakes.
  • Experience operating or directing heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
  • Valid driver's license.
Why Bruns Building & Development?
  • Competitive pay based on experience.
  • 100% Associate Owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Stable, year-round work.
  • Medical Insurance.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
  • Modern equipment and well‑maintained fleet.
  • Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects.
  • Family‑oriented culture where hard work is recognized and rewarded.
  • Advancement opportunities within a growing construction company.
Why This Role Matters

Every successful commercial building starts with a solid foundation. As a Site & Utilities Foreman, you'll lead the crews responsible for building the infrastructure that every project depends on. Your leadership directly impacts safety, quality, production, and the success of every job.
