Overview
Provide excellent customer care, address daily transactional inquiries, resolve problems, and manage risk in alignment with Fifth Third Bank policies. Refer customers to appropriate business partners for the sale of bank products and services as part of a comprehensive customer experience strategy.
Responsibilities- Customer Experience
- Consistently deliver best‑in‑class customer satisfaction through friendly, can‑do attitudes and willingness to help.
- Build rapport with customer base and stay knowledgeable about account ownership.
- Respond promptly to correspondence and problem resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer business.
- Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and related policies.
- Operations
- Perform daily office duties and work with the platform team to maintain efficient operations.
- Keep a balancing record in accordance with policy and correct outages quickly.
- Stay updated on bank policies and financial center procedures.
- Handle consumer and business customer problems with professionalism and direct complex issues to leadership when necessary.
- Exercise sound judgment and abide by established guidelines.
- Referrals
- Meet or exceed sales referral targets set by management.
- Participate in daily huddles, sales and staff meetings.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the full line of retail products and services.
- Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and refer appropriate partners.
- Use tools for tracking referrals and monitor progression regularly.
- Continuously improve knowledge through education, seminars, and training.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform advanced math for cash handling.
- Professional image and strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Initiative, sound judgment, and diplomacy in problem resolution.
- Team orientation with positive interaction among coworkers and management.
- Scheduling flexibility.
Normal office environment; extensive use of computer screens. Position: CSR/Teller – Versailles/Lexington, KY – Part‑Time – Bilingual Preferred.
