The Service Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by acting as a liaison between the company and its clients. The role involves understanding customer needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The Service Consultant plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, contributing to the company's reputation for excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to understand their service needs and provide tailored solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the resolution of client issues and enhance service delivery.
Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure their needs are met and to gather feedback for service improvement.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions, documenting issues and resolutions.
Stay informed about company products and services to provide knowledgeable support to clients.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services based on client needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures to improve overall client satisfaction.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
Support the sales team by providing insights and feedback from client interactions to drive business growth.

Required Experience:
Previous experience in commercial trucks or automotive setting.
Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and resolving service issues.
Experience in a consulting or advisory capacity is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address client needs effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using CDK software and other customer service tools helpful.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
