PositionSummary
The Ticket Seller works weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends and holidays, as event schedules vary. The role requires understanding and operating the computerized ticketing systems (TM Host and Archtics) and handheld payment devices; knowing and understanding the complete layout of each event and its seating chart; dealing knowledgeably and pleasantly with the public; and accounting for all tickets sold and payments received at the end of each shift.
Compensationand Benefits
Hourly rate: $15.00.
Benefits for Part‑time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

VenueLexington is an active market in need of a welcoming venue. The Rupp Arena—a 20,000‑seat arena—hosts college basketball and major music events, while the Central Bank Center offers exhibition and meeting space. The Lexington Opera House adds Broadway talent to the area's entertainment offerings.
Responsibilities- Collect event ticketing and parking payments.
- Deal courteously and effectively with the general public.
- Accurately account for payments collected and tickets issued.
- Resolve guest questions.
- Research customer accounts.
- Provide feedback to supervisor.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfortable with technology and a quick learner.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to initiate and build relationships with customers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Possess high standards of integrity, credibility, and reliability.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
