Professional Planner – City and Parks and Recreation – Lexington, KY
- Degree in planning
- Planning experience – approx. 5 years. Transportation (bike/ped/connectivity), environmental, urban design, economic development
- Writing abilities – especially writing planning documents
- Graphic/visual skills – preparing summary graphics
- Public speaking/presentations – public engagement, presentations to boards/committees/etc.
- Research skills – ability to find relevant information to provide background and support recommendations
- Analytical skills – demographics, budgets, survey results
- MS Suite – Excel, Word, Power Point
- Adobe Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- GIS – familiarity with Arc Map, ArcGIS online (bonus, not necessary)
- AutoCAD (bonus, not necessary)
