Overview
The College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kentucky is seeking a fellowship-trained spine neurosurgeon to join our expanding faculty. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-performing, collaborative neurosurgical team committed to exceptional patient care, innovative clinical program development, and the education of the next generation of neurosurgeons. This faculty appointment is full-time, non-tenure track, and reports directly to the Chair of Neurosurgery.

Experience:
Must have completed fellowship training in Neurosurgery-Spine. - Required License/Registration/Certification:
Licensed, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
- Provide advanced spine surgical care, including complex and minimally invasive procedures.
- Participate in and help expand multidisciplinary spine program initiatives.
- Contribute to resident and medical student education through didactic teaching, clinical instruction, and mentorship.
- Engage in clinical and/or translational research, quality improvement initiatives, or scholarly activity aligned with departmental goals.
- Collaborate with faculty across neurosurgery and related specialties to advance service-line growth and patient outcomes.

Preferred Education/Experience- Experience with complex spine reconstruction, deformity correction, and/or minimally invasive approaches.
- Evidence of research productivity, grant potential, or interest in building a scholarly portfolio.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in clinical program building or service-line development.
