Position Overview The Universitys College of Dentistry and its affiliated healthcare network invite applications for a Clinical Faculty position in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery .

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a surgeon who is passionate about comprehensive clinical care, resident teaching, and community engagement within a nationally recognized academic environment. The selected faculty member will join a collegial team dedicated to advancing patient outcomes, resident education, and access to care through a balanced mix of clinical practice, research, and outreach. Position Highlights Primary Focus Clinical Excellence:
Approximately 80% clinical responsibilities providing full-scope OMFS services, including dentoalveolar, trauma, pathology, implants, and orthognathic surgery. Academic Contribution: 20% protected time for community engagement, scholarly activity, and research aligned with department priorities. Teaching & Mentorship:
Participate in the training of residents and dental students, with opportunities to lecture and collaborate on clinical case reviews. Collaborative Environment:
Work alongside experienced faculty and hospital specialists in a multidisciplinary setting that values innovation and team-based care. Growth Potential:
Opportunity for academic advancement and leadership development within a supportive and nationally recognized university system. Qualifications DDS/DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school. Completion of a CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) . Eligible for dental licensure in the State of Kentucky . Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, resident education, and service to the community.
