Neonatology Opportunity in Lexington, KY Position Details Full-time Neonatologist
32-bed Level III NICUApproximately 4,000 annual deliveries

Collaborative team of 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours
24/7 in-house NNP coverage

Home-based night call Supportive, collegial practice environment

Strong mentorship available, including support for new graduates

Must reside locally; relocation may be required

Not open to locum candidates

Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICUManage infants from a busy newborn nursery service

Perform and maintain neonatal procedural competency

Collaborate closely with physicians, NNPs, nursing staff, and ancillary teams

Participate in call rotation including weekends

Deliver high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Kentucky medical license or willingness to obtain

Clean malpractice and license history preferred

Most recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required at presentation

DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start)
