Required Related ExperienceCompletion of Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Neonatology
Required License/Registration/CertificationBoard certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, board certified or board eligible in Neonatology, and eligible for a state-required medical license.
Job Summary- Provide inpatient care services in the Pediatric Neonatology Intensive Unit.
- Direct patient care to admitted patients and write daily progress notes.
- Submit clinical charges and oversee fellows, residents, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff.
- Perform night and weekend on‑call coverage as assigned, and provide individual teaching to pediatric residents and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend regional, national, and/or international scientific meetings and serve on Children’s Hospital and College of Medicine committees as needed.
- Contribute to the operation of the 66‑bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit and participate in neonatal transport center activities.
