Job Summary
The Faculty Initiatives in Education, Learning and Discovery ( FIELD ) program is seeking a student Program Assistant to support the development, documentation, and communication of FIELD’s academic programming and teaching initiatives.
The position will help develop and revise website language to ensure content is clear, current, inclusive, and accessible to multiple audiences. Responsibilities include documenting class—particularly for AFE 300: Growing Graduates from the Ground Up) and program activities (CoLT, Teaching Tuesdays, ESPRESSO , and KYnsHIP Conference) through photography and short video recordings, organizing digital media, and assisting with basic editing for promotional and archival use.
This role is ideal for a student interested in writing, digital communication, educational development, or academic program support, and offers hands‑on experience in documentation, instructional communication, and collaborative project work.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Skills preferred include strong writing skills, organization, detail-oriented, and strong reliability. The candidate must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and social media websites such as Facebook and Instagram.
