Job Summary

The University of Kentucky, College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer Title Series (tenure‑ineligible) Lecturer. This 10‑month appointment anticipates approximately 90% teaching and advising and 10% service or professional development. The Lecturer will assist and resource the Undergraduate BSN program within the College of Nursing, provide teaching, advising, and mentoring of undergraduate BSN students, implement and evaluate assigned didactic and clinical courses, plan and evaluate student clinical experiences and sites, guide BSN students, and provide clinical services as an undergraduate clinical instructor.

• Teach, advise, and mentor undergraduate BSN students.
• Implement and evaluate assigned didactic and clinical courses.

• Provide clinical services as an undergraduate clinical instructor.

• Earned Master’s Degree in nursing; DNP or PhD in nursing preferred.
• Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education preferred, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Clinical experience in health promotion, health informatics, pediatrics, public health, physical assessment, synthesis, professional role, or pharmacology required.
• Successful teaching experience with baccalaureate nursing students in the areas of health promotion, health informatics, pediatrics, public health, physical assessment, synthesis, professional role, or pharmacology preferred.
• Active unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of related BSN‑prepared professional clinical nursing experience within the last 5 years.
