Scope:
The Department of Communication & Media at the Getty College of Arts & Sciences, Ohio Northern University, welcomes applicants for a part‑time adjunct faculty position in Communication Studies. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of Communication will be considered.

Responsibilities:
The individual will serve as the instructor of record for the Public Speaking course (CAMS 1301 – Presentational Speaking). A typical assignment will include one course each semester, with the possibility of a second depending on student demand.

Required Skills:

Good interpersonal skills; an interest and ability to mentor students both inside and outside the classroom. Experience teaching undergraduate introductory Communication Studies courses is encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Communication Studies (or related), or 18 hours graduate coursework in Communication Studies (or related). Experience teaching Communication and Media Studies at the university level is encouraged.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching undergraduate introductory Communication Studies courses.
• Experience teaching at the university level.
