As an Extension Assistant for 4-H Youth Development, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the 4-H Youth Development program area and the 4-H Youth Development County Agent(s). You will report to an Extension Agent and there will be a high level of interaction with the general public. The Assistant will be expected to be knowledgeable of the philosophy, goals and objectives, policies and procedures of the Cooperative Extension Service.

- Recruitment & marketing
- Record keeping
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Maintain Quickbooks and budget files
- Promote and organize new 4-H clubs
- Recruit members and volunteer leaders
- Provide support and guidance to existing 4-H clubs
- Recruit and work with volunteers in conducting events and activities such as group projects, 4-H achievement events, and public presentation programs
- Serve all clientele
- Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Office 365, Teams
- Skype for Business;
Zoom - Quickbooks
Education or previous experience working with youth and previous experience in an administrative support role.
Required Qualifications- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of background check requirements; may need to pass national background check and drug screen as mandated
- Ability to travel within county, sit/stand/walk for long periods, handle average weight objects up to 50 lbs.
$15.30 - $19.30 per hour
