Overview
Distinguished Research Faculty – University of Kentucky
The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking distinguished research faculty for a tenure track or tenured, 12-month position. The successful candidate will be offered an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, productive research agenda that aims to make an impact in cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, substance use and tobacco policy, or other health conditions relevant to Family & Community Medicine.
Responsibilities- Conduct innovative, rigorous, grant-funded research and engage in scholarly activities (peer‑reviewed publications, presentations, etc.).
- Contribute to the research training of UK students and postdoctoral scholars, including mentorship programs, workshops, and supervised research.
- Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Research in a tenure track or tenured, 12‑month position.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative, rigorous research and obtain grant funding.
