Our motto here at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart". We are looking for private music instructors, especially for Guitar, who share the same philosophy. We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable as possible because the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.

We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio location but have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students' homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are a small portion of student demand, most prefer in‑person, so local instructors who can host students or are willing to travel within the Lexington area are needed.

As an independent contractor, you will be paid between $20‑$30 per hour, adjusted for travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You are free to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Taylor Robinson Music will provide advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing support to help lighten your load so you can focus on music.

Ideal candidates are great with kids, love teaching, maintain good communication, and are organized and on time. Formal music training is not mandatory, but either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience is required.

Applicants must be willing to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
