Hematology Research Faculty

Job Summary

The Markey Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation is seeking an Associate Professor or Professor to contribute to the Center’s research capacity in population science and health disparities. This position will conduct and disseminate research on topics relevant to areas of expertise and provide service to organizations at the local, state, and national levels, as well as membership on college and university committees.

The primary responsibilities of this position align with the missions of research, teaching, and service of the Markey Cancer Center and the University.

• Conduct and disseminate research on topics relevant to population science and health disparities.
• Provide assistance to organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
• Participate in college and university committees.
• Fulfill teaching and service duties in accordance with the Markey Cancer Center and University missions.
• Have no supervisory responsibilities.

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Successful participation in extramurally funded research and scholarly publication relevant to health disparities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral, written, and electronic media with a wide variety of audiences.
