Provides leadership support to Student Accessibility Services. Oversees disability services for all BCTC students who are deaf/hard of hearing. Partners with internal stakeholders on complex disability-related matters to ensure institution-wide compliance with the requirements of legal and institutional disability policies and procedures, as well as student access to the physical, educational and social activities of the institution.
Job Duties- Bachelor's degree (Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field) and six years of related experience.
- National Interpreter Certification.
- Current license granted by the KY Board of Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Master's degree (Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field) and eight years of related experience.
- Two years of experience interpreting for Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
